HAPPY TO BE ME
I don't complain and I don't worry
I'm taking it easy - what's the hurry
It's a lovely day and I'm happy to be me
No plans no obligations,
not bound by rules or regulations
I can do what I want and it's easy to see: I'm free
And to me what's really stunning
All the people always running
I don't get it: there's no fun in that
And then they try to tell
me that I' mad - too bad
I got no woman to take care of
No children - that I'm aware of
No clocks to haunt me and no debts to pay, I say
If you ask me where I'm going
I wonder what's the point in knowing
Right or wrong I will get there anyway - someday
